OUR BELIEFS

We believe strongly that businesses should strive for sustainability in all areas. We recycle everything from the foils in highlights to the developer bottles that were used for color. Our color is weighed precisely to eliminate any color waste. We are passionate about conserving and educating others on what role they play in conserving the environment for the health and well-being of future generations.

GIVING BACK

Every quarter we donate a percentage of our sales to a charity chosen by a team member. In 2008, we sponsored a special fund-raising and materials collection for Arts for Life and also donated to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure Foundation.

We are a full-service Aveda Concept Salon, offering a wide range of styling and spa services as well as a full line of Aveda products. Newgrowth Color
The application of color, or lightener, to the new growth of hair. The newgrowth color is necessary for covering gray, or in maintaining all over color. Maintenance upkeep for this service is usually needed every 4 to 6 weeks. May be a single service or paired with any highlight service.

Color Balance
The application of color, or lightener, to the new growth, mid-growth and ends of hair. All hair from new growth through ends is covered with color. This service is for guests who have never experienced hair color, or who desire to change the tone of their hair. May be a single service or paired with any highlight service.

Color Cleanse
Color Cleanse may be necessary when getting a corrective color service. Color cleansing may also be needed when altering/removing tone, or changing the level of the color. This service is great for removing color buildup, and for softening the new growth in between highlighting services.

Toner or Gloss with Color Service
Color Toner may be needed after pre-lightening colored hair, or to tone highlights. Usually the second step in a double process after foils are removed. This service is great for adding or enhancing warm or cool tones.

Glossing Treatment
A Glossing Treatment is used to enhance shine, while improving the condition of the hair. It is a great way to refresh the ends of the hair during a retouch, or balance the color in between foils.

Partial Highlights
Strands of hair are colored with highlights, mid-lights and low lights utilizing weaving or slicing techniques while isolated in foil.

Express Botanical Hair Therapy
This service combines Damage Remedy Equalizing Solution with the prescribed Aveda retail hair treatment. Express Botanical Hair Therapy delivers intense conditioning results in just 5 minutes. An ideal treatment for the guest who is short on time.

Botanical Hair Therapy - Strength or Moisture
Botanical Hair Therapy improves the condition of the hair up to 71% by incorporating Moisture Immersion, or Strength infusion, based on hair needs. The perfect add-on to a cut or color service.

In certain instances, our prices may change. If you are concerned about the price, please confirm prices with our Salon Coordinator while booking your appointment.

• For your protection.
We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including clothing or accessories. Please keep all valuables with you during your appointment. We also ask that you wear the smock provided for protection of your clothing.

• Appointment Policy
We recommend that you reserve appointments in advance in order to receive your preferred date, time and stylist for your services.

We may require a credit card at the time of booking in order to reserve the appointment. If it is more convenient, you are welcome to stop by and pay for your appointment in advance.

• Health Problem and Comfort Level 
Please notify your stylist before booking services if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure or any other physical ailments or disabilities. 

• Foot or Nail conditions 
To ensure the health and safety of all the guests and our team, if you are experiencing any foot or nail conditions please seek medical care before scheduling your nail appointments. Evolutions Salon reserves the right to deny services for the protection of our guests and team members. 

• Arrival

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your service to ensure you receive the full benefit of your service.

• Cancellation Policy
Our salon and service staff are in great demand, so please be respectful to their time by honoring your commitment to be here. We require at least 24 hours notice when canceling an appointment. There is a 50% charge for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and 100% charge for no shows. Multiple bookings require at least 48 hours notice and are subject to the same cancellation fees. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may require credit card prepayments to reserve an appointment.

• Gratuities
In appreciation of outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion. 

• Staff Selection/Changes
If you feel you would be more comfortable or better served by another staff member-or if you'd just like to get a fresh point of view-please let us know. Remember, we work as a team and it is our mission as a salon team to provide you consistent credible care.

• Cell Phone
Please turn off your cell phones and pagers prior to arrival. Be mindful of other guest’s space. While welcome to engage in quiet conversation, please refrain from loud talking. Many guests savor a much needed private moment. 

• Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, local printed checks for the amount of service (Valid ID required).
• Returned check is subject to a $30.00 fee.
• Multiple service appointments require a credit card to hold your reservation. A no-show will result in a charge to your credit card for the amount of services. 
• Gift Certificates are not refundable. However, they are transferable.
• Gift Certificates must be presented upon arrival for your appointment(s)
